Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and a Happy New Year! December was a pretty busy month. Some commission work and gifts for my family were taking a lot of my time. Finally I'm back in the swing of things and thought I would post some new pieces. This was a pretty cool commission. Finally finished up the glass on glass trout...named him "Sammy". Also, made a heron yesterday and grouted him this am. We have heron all around the lake in our neighborhood and finally got around to doing one....named him "Harry the Heron". :) Have a show to do on Saturday and really been busy trying to get ready for it. Update: Happy to report that "Sammy" sold at the show that I did and is now overlooking a lake in Connecticut. Sad to see him go, but happy he is in a
Etching in the studio

Vacation Inspiration
Just got back from an enjoyable and relaxingvacation in Naples, Florida. I could honestly say that I would move to Florida in a heartbeat. Weather is awesome, surroundings are gorgeous, and inspiration is all around. Thought it would be fitting for my first entry to be about my studio. We turned our walk up attic into my art studio about 5 years ago and it's been my happy place ever since. I really needed a sink so we added a bump out with a sink, countertop and under the counter glass storage.
