Fabric Flowers
MAY 2018...I was a bit inspired by the previous piece with the wallpaper, so thought I would try something new and went with fabric. I fell in love with this fabric and thought it would make a pretty mosaic...little did I know it would turn out to be one of the most time consuming pieces I have ever made. This piece contains so many tiny pieces and has so much detail, but in the end I think it was all worth it. I don't even want to know how many hours I put in on this. Thi

Wallpaper Mosaic
OCTOBER 2017...Fun commission piece I did. This was done to match the wallpaper in a client's home. I really liked how this turned out, especially the gold. I decided it needed a bit of POP so I made gold glass by adding gold leaf to the bottom of clear glass...love how it shines in the light. Measures 22" x 28". #stainedglassstudio #mosaicart #mosaicstudio #stainedglass #mosaicartist #mosaicglass #glassstudio #mosaics #glassartist #artiststudio #artist

First blog entry
Thought it would be fitting for my first entry to be about my studio. We turned our walk up attic into my art studio about 5 years ago and it's been my happy place ever since. I really needed a sink so we added a bump out with a sink, countertop and under the counter glass storage. My pug, Miss Lola, is my constant side kick when I am creating. #studio #art #artstudio #glass #glassstudio #pug #mosaics #artist #artiststudio #attic #atticstudio
